PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

INTRODUCTION

The counting accuracy of the sensor is better than 96%. In contrast to the pressure-based sensors this machine is able to count the number of passengers getting on and off at each door with image processing. In contrast to the infrared solution this machine is indifferent to the automated door-lock systems based on infrared radiation.

The on-board computer collects the number of passengers getting on and off at each stop and door. The controller sends all the data to the central server through wireless connection. It is possible to retrieve the exact number of passengers in any route and period with an evaluation software. The system – available to integrate an e-ticket validator – is also able to estimate the number of fare-dodgers.
